  Accent Global attends ICG Award Luncheon

Donna James, Shane Aubel and Dennis Lasley of the Accent Global team attended the International Crisis Group (ICG) 2008 Award Luncheon at the University Club in New York City. As invited guests of Nick Grono, Deputy President ICG, Brussels, BE, the Accent Global staff participated in honoring Ellen Johnson Sirleaf (President of Liberia), Martti Ahtisaari (former President of Finland) and Samina Ahmed (South Asia Project Director for the ICG). Each received awards and recognition for their outstanding leadership and contribution for promoting democracy, conflict prevention and courageous service. ICG is an international, non-profit, non-governmental organization whose mission is to prevent and resolve deadly conflicts through high-level advocacy (www.crisisgroup.org). Accent Global’s attendance at this event was a result of and recognition for technical support provided to ICG, specifically a technical assessment of their organizational infrastructure.
